Description
Troy Casey began Casey Brewing and Blending in the fall of 2013 with the idea of creating a blendery (a facility that doesn’t have a brewery themselves, but still makes beer) in the Roaring Fork Valley, a place where he and his fiancé had recently decided to make their home. After searching for the perfect location for their barrel cellar, they found their current spot in South Glenwood right on the Roaring Fork River. Troy first began brewing sour and wild beer in 2009 and it quickly took over all of his brewing interest. This all culminated with the creation of Casey Brewing and Blending, a place where Troy will be able to create blends his way.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is yeast, lacto, oak, pineapple. Thin mouth, tropical fruit, juicy, lacto, tart finish, light wood, so amazing, really enjoyed this.

750ml bottle, packaged on 3/31/15, pours a murky gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose has some white grape, buttery oak, hay, straw, dried citrus peel, light herb, a little cheesy funk. Flavor is extremely well balanced, lemon, straw, cheese, mild passion fruit, some oak, lightly buttery. Lightly tart, dry finish.

75cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Omgrich. Note de brett pour une effervescence moyenne. Fin résiduel boisé perce en fin de bouche ajoutant une petite note d’épice.

Thanks to omgrich! 750 ml. bottle sampled. 12/4/14. Quite pale, hazy yellow, small solid white head. Nose is vanilla, sugar, oak, sweetish, big USA sour yoghurt lactic profile,… Taste is lightly mineral, lemon, USA sour yoghurt profile, lemon peel, mineral, lightly puckering,… Easy to drink, touch vanilla,… Quite decent but nothing earth-shattering,… I am not getting the hype here,.. I honestly think that people have started hyping breweries just to hype breweries. Trading might have also something to do with it.

750 ml bottle thanks to ClarkVV, 2014 vintage. Pale yellow color, spotty lacing in the snifter. Aroma is nice, fresh peach, old peach, light oak, mild funk.
Flavor is sweet peach mixed with mild oak barrel. Lactic sourness hits the back of my tastes buds with a sharp pucker. The juicy peach with the lactic sourness make this interesting.

75CL Bottle from Clarkvv. hazy bright orange and yellow. 1 finger solid white head. Smells incredible. Very close to Persica fresh. Tart, excellent peach through and through. Very sour, thin body, the peach is present but the malt doesn’t really back it up. lingers for a while but more close to a peach sour water than a beer.
