Tap at Gentle Boozers in Rome. Dark amber a bit chestnut skin pour, dark ivory foam. Nose: rasperries, dried prunes forward. More prunes and solvent (-) Mouth: medium carbo, butterscotch, hidden alcohol, burnt malty end.

Pours unclear blonde, no real head. Smell is citrussy, lemon zest. Apple skins ( acethyldehyde ? ) Taste is sharp, appleskins, bit sweet, mild bitterness. very funky. Seemed a bit off...

Pours dark brown, smell is roasted, dark chocolate. Taste is sharp, roasted, tad sweet, some coffee, pure cocoa and chocolate. OK mouthfeel, low carbo.

Pours clear, dark brown. Small white head. Smell is weak, bit chocolate, roasted malts. Rather light. Taste is bit sweet, toffee. OK .

Pours rather clear, dark amber. Small white head. Smell is medium intense, thick, heavy grains. Taste is full, thick, bit sweet, fruity maltyness. Tad boozy, well brewed. Not overly exciting tho.

Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit green, very grassy hops. Taste is full, doughy, white bread. Green hops, very grassy. Clean fermentation profile. Very well made !

On tap @So Good (Rome-Italy). Pour a deep dark brown color going black, medium-tall brownish foam. Nose: mh, there is something which I could not pick right. Iron, a very mild aroma of olive. But these notes don’t last that long and the floor is taken over by a pretty English earthy aroma mixed to row roast and grounded coffee. Mouth is fine, a bit thin (which perhaps is even a plus), roast, grounded barley.
