Aus der Flasche (bbe 03.2021) im 2019-06 getrunken. Dieses schwarze IPA mit einer schönen feinporigen, beigen Schaumkrone hat eine schöne Aromakombination aus Citrusfrüchten, Getreide, deutlicher Hopfenbitterkeit und schokoladigen Röstaromen. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist gut eingebunden und bringt ein schönes volles Aroma ohne dominant zu werden. Lecker!

Bottle from menu. amber, small light brown head. aroma is whiskey, yeast, dough. appears a bit unbalanced or weird. flavor is whiskey, caramel, super low bitterness. sort of like a belgian double, but a lot more boring and then with whiskey added, which does not help any.. Good idea, end result not so much.

From a 50 cl bottle poured into a Snifter. From an Irma supermarket. New batch, abv is 10 %, BBE February 2022. Near black with a mefium sized lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, coffee, liqourice, fruity herbal roasted notes. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Sweet finish with rich dark malts. Some metallic notes in the far finish, that doesn't do miracles for the beer.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, little hops, citrus and fruits. Light bitter finish. Could have used a bit more hops.

Bottle@Jespers - hazy amber pour with a small off white head. Sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, some dried fruit, fudge, some strange medicinal notes coming in, medium body, syrupy sweet malty finish.
