12oz bottle...think I had a double chocolate stout bottle from them a few years back, assumably the same beer. I find this to be one of Shenandoah’s better offerings. Rich and smooth, medium bodied. Very creamy stuff, with a pleasant non-artificial chocolate flavor. Really gets bonus points from me for being so exceptionally balanced and drinkable.

12 oz bottle at Shenandoah. Pours a relatively clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is light malts. Flavor is what I’d expect from a lager - refreshing and non-offensive.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber color. Aroma is a slightly sweet and tart cherry one. Flavor is sweet fruit, berry, which is slightly tart. It is okay, but I wouldn’t say it’s something I’d search for to try again, at least not if there are other beers available at Shenandoah that I prefer.

An extremely good brew, but not for the faint of heart. It does not taste a whole lot like a beer normally would - but has a pretty solid candy chocolate and raspberry flavor. Very sweet, and I can’t imagine drinking more than one in a sitting.

Muddy light brown. Smells somewhat hot, slightly mapley and a bit muddled. Sweet, mapley and a little hot on the palate. Raisiny middle and a firm alcoholic finish. Quite a bit of muddy yeastiness.

Pours a golden color with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, banana, and cloves. Flavor is, well, pretty bland. It’s drinkable, but I wouldn’t make this a staple of my regular beers from Shenandoah.

22 oz bottle. Trying to do this mostly from memory - pours a brownish color with a very foamy white head that lasts a decent amount of time. Aroma isn’t too overpowering, and this beer has a pretty mellow taste to it that was quite pleasing.

Bottle. Pours a dark copper/redish almost clear. No head whatsoever. Aroma is that of malts, figs, and berries with heavy notes of vanilla. Flavor is nothing short of fantastic, near perfection sweet, malty, creamy with butterscotch. Extremely smooth, almost like sipping bourbon. Alcohol is pretty well masked.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma is rich roasty malts and chocolate malts mixed with mild toffee and caramel. I also get some burnt malts and vague other notes. Pretty nice thick mouth feel bringing up roasted malts and chocolate malts that are sweetened up with molasses. Into the finish I taste burnt notes, cookies, raisins and prunes.
