Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. A hazy dark red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is very sweet and very spicy - cinnamon, cloves, and cardemomme. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and strong notes of spices, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Marked as best before 12/31/08. Pours with a huge white head and a murky light amber body (around 15 SRM). Great lacing, very nice. Aroma of honey, brown sugar, molassas, a bit of rotten fruit, caramel and some maple and walnuts. Taste is very sweet and full of malt, honey, fruity, a bit of corn and brown sugar. Cream with hardly any noticable carbonation.

From tap at Arendsnest. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a fully diminished white head. Spiced and wheaty aroma. More intense spiced in the flavour and with a nice fruity citrusy wheaty base flavour to this. Nice hoppy finish with a light fruity note along with a good level of bitterness.

From tap at Arendsnest. Pours almost clear orange with a fully diminished white head. Nice citrusy hops aroma ad mild caramel sweetness. Fruity flavour of apples, oranges and citrusy notes wit a nice caramel malt base balancing the hops just enough. Smooth and bitter fruity finish. Nice one.

On tap @ ’t Arendsnest. Deep dark murky brown colour, off-white creamy head. Aroma of chocolate, malts and raisins. Flavour is the same, a little bitter finish, fullbodied, a lot softer flavours than the Ezelenbok. Alcohol very well hidden. Really nice bock.
