Crowler from Dogtap. It pours opaque, black with a nice light tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toffee, biscoff, fudgey, chocolate cake, toffee crisp, dark roasted malt, dark/dried fruits, touch of spice and dull vanilla/nougat. The taste is initially quite smooth, bitter - sweet, toasty, roasted, umami, biscoff dunked in coffee, toffee crisp, charred action, umami, rocky road, liquorice, nougat, vanilla cake frosting, donuts and a nip of alcohol with a drying, roasted finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Never too sweet, which is what I had reservations about. Works quite well.

Can shared with Holmen1 at Bjørnøy 16.10.21. Ebony. Brown head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt and hints of blakcberries. Rather waterish.

0,44 boks (Drums Please!) fra VP Kvaddå, delt med eiendomsmagnaten: brunsvart med utmerket skum helt ned. Dessertkaffe med en liten teskje brunsukker, mørke sjokolader og et hint av bjørnebær. Slank og lettdrikkelig.

Keg at 6DN. It pours deep amber with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, piney, resinous, sappy, caramel, toffee, grapefruit, pomelo, pomegranate and tang. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, piney, resinous, sappy, wood, grapefruit, pomelo, toffee, caramel, kick of alcohol, zingy, oily, spruce, more resin and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fun stuff. Good example.

A fairly straightforward framboise but it's nice. Crisp, fresh, fruity, just a little sharpness. Could happily drink a few of these over an afternoon.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours pale bright golden with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, green, grassy, floral, cracker, straw, twist of lemon, greengage and peppery spice. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, clean malt base, grassy bitterness, fragrant, floral, straw, lemon - lime, gooseberry, greengage, verbena, peppery spice and a touch of cracker with a crisp, dry finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Super crispy and clean. Floral, grassy and crushable. Nice work 6DN.

Can from Cork & Cask. Pours murky orange with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, coconut, peach. Taste is dry, more tropical fruit and coconut, zest and a grassy bitter finish.

Can from Cork and Cask. Pours darkest brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of light chocolate, boozy fruitcake, liquorice, sherry, wood, light acetic note. Taste is light roast, dark fruits, pontefract cakes. Spicy and warming whisky notes, late red fruit.
