Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, hoppy, hop oil. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, hop oil, citrus, grapefruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20110801]

Cask at Dean Swift. Bright copper with a lacy head. Aroma of citrus and pear. Flavors of bitter citrus, zest, especially grapefruit. Creamy and nice.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London. Pours dark brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma is pretty weak, if you want to know the truth. Some slight hints of fruits. Flavor is light sweet, some faint roasted malts, mild grass. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Bittersweet finish, ashy dark malts, a bit of earth. Decent.
