Bottle: Poured a light black color stout with a brown foamy head with good carbonation and light lacing. Aroma of floral espresso notes with some light roasted malt. Taste is a nice mix between some espresso notes with some light roasted alt and some lactose-like sugar notes. Body is light but has a nice creamy texture with good carbonation. A bit thin but I enjoyed the espresso notes in this beer.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, woody chocolate malt, pea notes, OK. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with light coffee notes, light nutty notes, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. Bottle from GRM at his place.

Brassy, thick head. Leafy, lightly biscuity, light berryish curranty taste. Low bitterness, mellow character. For me the unique berryish hop note was great, but it was a bit sweet for quantity drinking.

Brassy colour. Thin head. Sweet malts are amber biscuity. Hops understated, and all told lacks the crispness or complexity I would prefer.

Golden-brown. Medium head. Toasty-biscuity nose. Very toasty on the palate, has a light fruitiness. Decent. Good balance.

Did not want to form a head. I saw it was pouring flat, gave it a more aggressive dumping, and just nothing happened but a few bubbles. But the colour is on point, a nice deep rich gold. The aroma has a fair bit of pale malt richness, along with a slightly grassy continental hop. Medium body, towards the full end (which is right for a dortmunder), bringing a balance between clean pale malts, a restrained hop bitterness. A touch of hop dryness and character carries through to the finish. The malts could be breadier, but the hop balance is just right, showing through while leaving the malt to be the star. All told, this is a pretty good dortmunder.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of English bready malt and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with English bready malt, caramel and a touch of earthy notes. Certainly not the most complex for the style, but it's decently balanced and structures. Bit of a boozy finish but in no way intrusive.
