750mL bottle, pours an opaque golden yellow, almost no head despite it exploding from the bottle upon opening. Aroma has plenty of wet hay, horse blanket, and dry apple skins. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of hay, gentle horse blanket, and a touch of apple skins. Not the most sophisticated funk expressions of Twin Island, but it’s extremely well-crafted; finishes dry, hay-like, and very drinkable. Very good.

Dullish yellowy sort of colour, like slightly oxidized apple flesh. Light apple, some bit of tannin. On the palate, fairly dry, with apple skin and oxidation. Slight off-note, I guess that's from bottle refermentation or something?

Poured from 750mL bottle (2025 harvest). Cloudy blonde gold with quickly dissipating white head. Lightly perfumey, almost an apple pear like quality, decent.

750mL bottle. Pours blonde with lots of murky yeast. Loads of dry apple skins and must on the nose. Flavour has a very dry apple character, skins, straw, some musty yeast, mineralic finish. Nice dry cider, but not the most complex.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden, no head. Nose brings out barnyard funk, some hay, dry apple skins, and a touch of sugars. Flavour is semi-sweet upfront, with toffee, brown sugar, barnyard funk, and gentle hay. Good yeast complexity, nice funkiness, and some wild bugs. Very good.

750mL bottle. Pours hazy blonde. Musty apple skins and a buggy funkiness on the nose. Flavour has apple skins, semi-dry apple juice, good layer of funk, and champagne-like effervescence. Very nice.

Bottle pour at Threefold. Pours clear gold with a white head. Nose is a bit of a blend of quince and apple juice. Flavour has tart quince, apple skins, some champagne yeast, and lingering, pungent sweaty quality that is not very pleasant. Overall it's a bit disappointing for Twin Island.

[Vol. VI] Bottle pour at Threefold. Pours clear gold with a minimal white head. Very earthy nose with musty red apple skins. Flavour is also pretty earthy with a lot of apple skins, gentle tartness, some tannins, a bit musty, and a very nice layer of champagne yeast. Awesome.
