330ml bottle from the brewery via eebria. Pours jet black, thin tan head. Aromas of vanilla, pipe tobacco, leather, liquorice, coffee, cooked plums. Taste is sweet, dark chocolate, more coffee. Rich mouthfeel, oily texture, boozy finish. Really good.

330ml bottle from the brewery via eebria. Pours clear amber brown, thin, but long-lasting white head. Aromas of toffee, citrus, boozy fruitcake. Taste us more of the same, with a light spice coming in. Oily texture, sticky finish. Good.

AR: chocolate pralines, chocolate pudding, vanilla beans, rasins, pruns AP: opack black colour body, stouthy smooth dark brown steady head F: smooth feeling, milk chocolate, home brewed coffey whith some milk, soft carbonation, medium bitterness... what a beer ;)

Bottle (lot 518 BBE 09/2013) many thx to the king of Scotland cgarvieuk cons 2014-07-07 Uddingston, Scotland AR: dark chocolate, madeira, rasins, pruns AP: deep ruby/mahogany, stouthy/frothy crème brown steady head F: soft wee carbonation, vinos, oaked madeira, rasins and pruns ie brittish fruitcake, dry, red grapes, wee chocolate - nice beer after a few French ;)

330ml bottle from the brewery via eebria. Pours clear chestnut brown, thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee apples, light yeast zing, burnt sugar and light spice. Taste is more burnt sugar and spice, some leather. Surprisingly light body, creamy texture. Sweet finish. Decent.

Bottle split at the Manny G tasting, thanks to Leighton, 28/06/14. Hazed orange amber with a good sized light beige covering. Nose is caramel, sweet notes, spice, bitter fruits, ornage, toffee, light booze. Taste comprises mellow stoned fruits, apricot, ripe citric rind, bready notes, sweet, big ripened melons. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok English Strong.

500ml bottle from the brewery via eebria. Pours black with a thick tan head head. Aromas of milk chocolate, light roast coffee. Taste is sweet, light liquorice. Velvety mouthfeel, quite rich, but strangely thin at the end. Good overall.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from Eebria. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some minerals, citrus, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with some straw bitterness, further minerals, light marmalade. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with some dry white bread, hay, peach, dried lemon. Not bad.
