Can that pours a hazed, golden-orange colour with a small fizzy head that does not stay long, leaving no lacing at all. Fresh, herbal aromas with the rosemary, blending well with the Witbier yeast, oats and hints of vanilla. The white wine grapes show up a touch in the taste, with the well-balanced herbal-yeast notes. Some orange peel lingers. An interesting White beer with rosemary herbs and a tad white wine.

Can that pours a lightly hazed, golden colour with a warm white-yellowish head, good stay and some foamy lacing traces left. Orange juice aromas with some tropical notes and a tad alcohol. Getting tangerines in the taste, with other citrus zests. A wet mouthfeel that get quite dry in the finish. Some zesty bitterness lingers. A very refreshing Double IPA (not NEIPA) that has some good drying bite in the end.

A solid white head on an unusually blonde body for a DIPA. Nose has a variety of fresh fruit notes. Peaches, plums, orange and some grapefruit rind create a punchy hop profile. Malt is sweet and chewy. Grain and honey round it out. Very nicely done

Pale orange with a haze. White wine aroma with a modest dankness. The added rosemary is hard to pick up. Mild bitter with a faintly tart undertone. Medium bodied. Mild carbonation. Delicate feel. Not bad.

(Can) Pours cloudy deep red amber with short-lived loose pale pink head. Aroma of raspberries. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation giving a good mouth filling palate. Raspberries are the most dominant flavour with some citrus and some pleasant gentle bitterness in the finish. Very nice.
A hazed copper amber ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with light grassy British hops, treacle, light butterscotch, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with herbal hops, treacle, light butterscotch, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Festival des Bières de Laval 2024.

La Memphré Ralph Merry Bourbon BA Scotch Ale 11.5% 41 IBU Courtesy of a friend from Quebec in honor of St-Jean-Baptiste Day tomorrow. Lovely reddish brown pour with virtually no foam. It’s got a sharply sweet caramel aroma. Medium to full bodied and super smooth. The taste is caramel, scotch ale then big barrel character with oak, vanilla and biscuit. As it warms it becomes better integrated, smooth and enjoyable.
