Bottle 750ml. [ As BIIR 4B Oude Gueuze - Lambic Series ].[ Bottle 2547/2700 ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy tart grapes - green apples - citrus, barnyard, leather, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, dry, barnyard, leather, fruity malt, funky, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160624]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus, wood and barnyard. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 240616

Maakun rolls out the cannon, loaded with Bottle No. 348/2700. Clear golden with little ring head. Grapes, hay, light metallic dustiness, spices, herbs, cinnamon, very ripe banana and kiwi fruit. Sweet fruitiness with a warming mild sour (horse)blanket on top of it. Medium body, minerallike chalky texture, bit metallic feel, very fruity and lovely mild sour and nice champagne fizz.

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with short lasting fizzy white head that leaves a small ring, also some champagne like bubbles rising from the bottom. Fresh cheese, fresh cut wood, lemon, quite some funk, it’s quite fruity too with gooseberries and kiwi fruits. Almost medium sour, very light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft sparkly carbonation. Nice fruity and clean gueuze without being sharp. Very enjoyable, if this was cheaper I’d drink more bottles.

Draft at Café Hesp. Clear amber with a big white head. Aroma of malt caramel, toffee, butterscotch and light fruit notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at opa & oma Nentjes. Opaque dark brown with huge creamy beige head. Sweet roasted chocolate and caramel malts, toffee, licorice, mocca, molasses, mild yeast. Big sweet, medium bitterness. Full body, soft creamy feel, soft carbonation. Long sweet, bittersweet, chocolate and creamy finish. 30 min. later, still camping the same glass: the molasses in this is so prominent that it feels more like a heavy sweet stout / imperial stout than a dubbel.

33cl bottle. Hazy orange pour with a very tall beige head with decent retention. Smells like overripe/fermented tropical fruit, a bit of mould, grapefruit, pineapple. The taste follows the same notes, with an addition of floral and perfumey notes, probably from the Equinox hops. An interesting beer.

33cl bottle. Citrus, subtle bretty notes, orange, coriander, floral hops and some nice red fruit notes. Probably the best witbier I have ever had, to date.
