47,3cl can from Vinmonopolet, Larvik. Pours hazy red with a slightly pinkish head. Mild raspberry aroma with hints of hibiscus and wheat. Moderate sweet with medium to low flavour intensity and mild acidic notes. Fairly refreshing.

Des notes de blé craquant, des accents poivrés et de la coriandre composent un olfactif ressortant à peine. Le liquide doré clair est flou. La mousse extrêmement crémeuse épaisse et persistante. En bouche, on retrouve les aspects céréaliers et épicés de l’olfactif en plus d’une intensité de houblons offrant une bonne amertume herbacée et épicée. Blé et coriandre s’imposent au détriment du fruité d’orange qui se présente surtout sous forme de zeste ; augmentant de ce fait l’amertume globale. Les céréales présentent également une base légèrement miellée. Les accents épicés sont présents tout au long du processus et s’amalgament aux houblons herbacés en finale. Le corps est assez ample, la texture veloutée et l’effervescence moyenne. Une Witbier un peu hors norme mais quand même savoureuse et complexe. Appréciée ! O:6.7 V:3.94 G:7.56 C:2.68 G:13.62 T:34.5

473ml can, 8.4 % abv, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Diminishing off-white head, misty dark brownish body, spotty lacing. Caramel aroma, slightly smoked, inviting. Peated malty flavours added by syrup and caramel malts. Malty-driven ending, peated, mid-sweet. Medium bodied. Decent. (Tromsø, 06.11.2024).

Dark brown colour with copper highlights, a mocha-coloured frothy head, good retention, but not much lacing. A few creamy traces appears as the brew goes down to catch up. Roasted malt aromas giving dark fruit notes, chocolate, mild cherries, light molasses and some hints of minty-herbs. The mouthfeel is slick, a little oily, but not too thick - going down nicely. Roasted barley flavours with chocolate malts, a touch of coffee and some decent grassy hops in the finish. A pretty good Imperial Stout that gets better as it breathes.

Dark brown colour with some golden-copper highlights, a frothy warm-beige head, decent stay and some creamy lacing. Aromas of mineral water, mild roasted malts, caramel and good nuttiness. The flavours are well-balanced, with some nutty-dark roasted malts, mineral notes and decent hops. Kind of creamy on the mouthfeel, with a nice dryness. Quite a nice darker brew that has a mild touch, good drinkability, but yet enough hoppiness to finish things well.

A pale golden lager with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at Oktoberfest de Repentigny 2024.
