On tap at Brouwer's Cafe for Barrel Bash (Big Wood) 2023, pours jet black with a medium brown head. Aroma is full of harsh roast, woody notes, and pungent hops. Flavour is assertive, with big woody notes, roasted malt, and a big hoppy note — almost like a black IPA. Robust, assertive — not for weaklings. Good stuff.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe for Barrel Bash (Big Wood) 2023, pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma has some Peach Snapple notes and some earthy green tea. Flavour is quite tart, with lots of tart citrus, green tea, and more tart citrus. Moderately acidic, just not that complex. It's alright.

On tap at North Fork - Bellingham, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very acidic, with lemongrass, tamarind, citrus fruits, and herbal notes. Flavour is extremely acidic and harsh, with lots of harsh tamarind, intense acidity, light lemongrass and a touch of basil. This just isn't good. All the adjuncts lack harmony, and the body is harsh, acidic, and vegetal. Very amateur and lacking coordination.

On tap at North Fork - Bellingham, pours a cloudy bright pinkish red with a small pink head. Aroma brings out tart blackberries, some lacto, and some light funk. Flavour is very fruity and intense, with loads of fruity, juicy blackberries, light lacto, and a hint of bugs. Very juicy — the fruits outdo the yeasts here. Very good.

On tap at North Fork - Bellingham, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out somewhat harsh dank hops, some pine and stone fruit. Flavour is quite herbal in the hop department, with dank hops, light pot, some pine, and herbal grassiness. Some weird herbal off-notes in here that don't quite work. Not disastrous but the hop character isn't totally on-point.

Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a lighter straw yellow glow that shows about twenty five per cent opacity, all under a great four to five centimetre tall off-white microfoamed head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of fresh grass and hay with some yeast, biscuits, hay and a lot of flowers, but not so much malt, alcohol or sugars noticeable. Light-bodied; Very crisp, cereal, biscuits and very funky malts show up front (No glutens in this one?!?) with a slight herbal and perfumey characteristic from the hops with a bit of a soft sweetness at the end that shows a little candy. Aftertaste is dry, very crisp and quite herbal and perfumey, without much sweetness, but the malt here is very noticeable still and quite frankly, showing an odd dryness, all with the bready yeasts still here. Overall, a funky beer due to the malt and yeast -t he hops are okay, but don't show much of the Cashmere side. Nice enough to try from New York, but not good/great and especially not worth trying to find! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (57th @ Lexington Avenue), New York on 15-January-2022 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-January-2022.

Pale amber w slight haze, thin head. Some allium and lime leaf, and sulphur -lots of hops and some good elements. A splash of alcohol but i would expect more.

Dark red-brown, no head. Earthy chinese plum character. Lactic, balanced with a decent malt character. Woody. Solid.

Amber, bright, bretty nose, a bit sharp, leathery, some malt base. Rounded barrel notes, straw, like 3rd use sort of mellow.

Opaque, hazy, no head. Mellow, stone fruit, grapey nectarines i can dig it. Wine barrel nectarine beer - not had one of those yet I don'�t think but it'�s good.
