Pours a crisp gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is uninspiring. Slightly sweet malts with just a touch of hops, and metal. Body is medium to light with plenty of fizz. Flavor is of sorta sweet. I don’t notice any hops, but there is some malt in it. It’s not terrible, but it’s trying.

A deep dark reddish brown with a thick moka head. Pleasant chocolate and moka coffee aroma, very nice and classy. In mouth, a nice light chocolate malt with light hopping, roasted coffee beans, light metallic notes. This could be a porter. 330 mL can from Japan, 1 year old, BB 06-07.

22 oz can. Poured watery yellow with thin white head. Corn to sweet malt aroma with a hint of hop spice. The taste started out bad. The thin watery mouth feel and adjunct taste brought forth an un-mistakable macro swill sensation. But then just beyond midway a noble hoppiness surfaces to save this beer from utter disaster.

Tap. Watery and yeasty, and a surprising amount of alcohol taste. I was surprised to see its only 5%.

This is the first Japanese beer that I have ever had, so it tastes a little different from other beers that I have had. A nice taste on the palate, with a pale body. I actually really like the taste, so even though, this isn’t the really best beer you can get, I would have no problem drinking it again (in fact I might right now).

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, malts and either rice or maize (maybe both?). Flavour os rice, hops and slight maltyness. Not exciting at all, and quite typical Asian "pale" beer.

Bottled, Leen restaurant, Utrecht. Clear yellow color, short head. Aroma of faint hop, bit corn, but better than Asahi super draft. Quite bitter taste.

Bottle, 4.7%. As Sapporo Premium Lager. Golden colour, small white head. Grainy flavour. Medium bitterness. Standard lager, no worse than most others.

Light bodied and crisp in flavor. Not much happening here other than the typical lager sweetness and trace amount of hops. Better than average, but not worth seeking out.

Gold colored body, a small white head, grainy corny nose, mild with a bit of hops on the tongue. Not as good as the Saporro Reserve.
