light, fairly flavorless mainstream weizen. Very little clovey notes. Boring.

Bottle at my company holiday party which wasn’t at Japanese restaurant oddly enough. Typical yellow lager. its crisp and clean and dry, tastes of corn, straw, and a touch of hops.

Nice light amber color, tall head. Malt centered aroma, slightly dark and chocolatey but just slightly. Malty flavor, somewhat sweet, with chocolate and caramel. Rich, a bit earthy, plus a little bit of wood, maybe the charcoal? Ok, but still not very interesting. Still a bit cheap, somehow.

Can. Rather malty aroma, slightly grainy with light hops. Malty flavor, grainy, some fruit and light grassy hops. Tasty enough without being special. Reasonable bitterness at finish. Decent deep golden color. OK.

Can found in Paris. Decent pillow of head, clear yellow colour with stormy carbonation. Aroma is a faint mixture of cardboard and wood. Taste is, uh, well, missing. Seriously, it tastes like nothing! The palate is decent and smooth, lingers on the tongue. I couldn’t taste anything, and I even tasted this warm. This puts the "pale" in "pale lager".

Bottle. Clear straw, little head. Faint aroma has hints of bread and vegetables. Light body and carbonation. Flavour is thin and watery with a mildly fruity / estery start and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Overall, it’s drinkable but does not quite qualify as inoffensive.
