My label looks different than this one, mine says premium beer where this one says draft. Same color label tho, I assume it is the same beer. Off sour aroma when you pop the lid on this 12 oz brown bottle. Aroma is a little more clean, processed and volatile once in the glass. I don’t smell any corn. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. Biting industrial pale lager palate. Like so many other inexpensive american lagers. Is enjoyable to an extent but has a pilsner bite to it. Has good carbonation. Schmidt’s and Old German are better than this, and cheaper.

Crisp yellow color with a large head. If you’ve had one Japanese macro you’re had ’em all. Sweet malts, corn, and some grain. Light on the taste. malts, light bitterness, and sweet. Smooth body. Light finish, some bitterness.

Low to medium carbonation. A little dry and bitter but otherwise quite bland and boring.

Bottle. Alc. 4.7% Clear medium yellow color with average fizzy fair lacing mostly lasting white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration .... zzzzz boring. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Aroma of light grass and noticeable malt. Orange tinged gold coor with a white head that collapsed, but left some lacing. Medium+ mouthfeel; low carbonation; sort of a warm malt foundation, and there is definitely some decent pilsener type hop in the finish. If it was not quite so malty, and had a bit more hop, I’d think it actually was a pilsener. Way better than Bud.

Pours a deep brown with dark mahagany highlites and a deep tan, foamy head. Roasted malt, some coffee, cocoa, and a little fruit. Flavor is deeply roasted malts, coffee, and sorta sweet. Finishes with a little smokiness. Body is on the light side of medium with nice carbonation. Sorta metallic as well. Could use a more complex, fuller flavor. But not bad, something I would pick up again if I was surrounded by macros.

(500 ml bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Labeled "Yebisu Traditional Brew Premium" 5% ABV. Clear pale golden color, huge white head. Acidic, almost lemonish, scent. Acidic malty taste with a metallic undertone and some grains. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a medium, fizzy, white head. Aroma is floral, and sweet malt. Mouth is a bit thin, and carbonated. Flavor is metal, and hay hops. Has a dry hop finish. More hops than any other macro I’ve had, but I’m dissapointed with the overall flavor.

Weak and flavorless. Horrible for an import. Virtially indistinguishable from cheap American swill.
