Hazy golden colour with a tad amber hue, a big bubbly-frothy white cap, good stay and leaving some soapy spots. Got a mild aroma of pineapple-coconut at first pour, but then - the citrus zest, bite, bitterness comes out. In the taste, loads of citrus juices, a touch of pineapple, with the coconut notes lingering, smoothly away with decent dryness. Big hoppy particles come out at last pour, and gets much zestier in the finish. Not a bad NEIPA, but the zestiness-dryness gets a little too much for the style, and takes away from the juiciness.

Lightly unfiltered with a bunch of tiny particles floating around, creating a tad haziness. The head is bubbly, white, with average stay and some decent soapy lacing spots. Got a nice whiff of white wine grapes at can opening, but seems to disappear quickly, leaving more of the single malt with a touch of grassiness. Hints of tropical and stone fruits do come out. A soft vinous note happens in the taste with a fairly good, slow building dryness, leaving a grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is slick and oily at first. Not a bad SMaSH IPA - but was expecting more wine characteristics and less dry-bitterness in the end.

O:6.96 V:4.27 G:6.76 C:3.42 G:13.4 T:34.81

Older can found in an IGA with old label, so here goes. Lightly hazed, golden colour with a creamyish, whitish head that stays a while and leaves good thick-soapy lacing. Citrus zest aromas with grassy notes. The taste is also fairly zesty-grassy. After having my most well-rated Pilsner from Hill Farmstead (Mary), it is hard to have anything else. This feels more like a juicy-hazy NEPA.

Clean, amber colour with some golden highlights, a big creamy-frothy warm off-white head, good stay and some thicker, wavy, frothy lacing. Big cereal, dark grain aromas with molasses, notes of dark fruits and mineral water. The cereal grains continue in the taste as base with hints of spices, Belgian yeast. It does get a little hazy as it pours, with some particles. A decent Dubbel with a touch more cereal than the sweeter, Belgian ones.
