Caramel, sucre d’orge, cerises, pain baguette sont les composantes aromatiques de cet olfactif peu puissant mais bien malté qui laisse quand même passer quelques notes florales et herbacées issues des houblons. Le liquide se présente doré ambré avec une excellente limpidité et un filet de mousse qui s’estompe rapidement. En bouche, c’est malté avec de bonnes notes de caramel avec un puissant alcool frôlant les notes de solvant. Une bonne amertume de feuillus s’accapare de la finale et laisse trainer une longue fin de bouche en combinaison avec le puissant alcool. La corps est rondelet sur une texture velouté amis par contre l’alcool est beaucoup trop dominant et mal intégré, ce qui nuit à l’appréciation d’une complexité typique à ce genre de bière.

Can: Poured a cloudy bright yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bright juicy hops notes with some citrusy notes and light tropical notes. Taste is also a mix of juicy hops notes with some citrusy notes and light tropical notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Easy drinking IPA with nice flavours and good balance.

Can: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with some scotch notes and light woody notes. Taste is also a mix of scotch notes with some woody notes and dry caramelized notes with nice cereal notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Great beer and nice mix of complexity while retaining excellent drinkability.

A hazed golden ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, beautiful mix of passion fruit, mango, very nice. In mouth, a tart mix of passion fruit, lemon, lactic notes, very nice. Can from Iga Famille Charles.
