Can from the LCBO. Clear dark reddish brown with a large lingering cream coloured head that leaves some sparse lace. Nose is light roast nuts, a bit of coffee and cocoa, some grass, vanilla and mineral notes. Light+sweetness with a light+ grassy bitterness. Mouth is thin with average carbonation and a light bitter finish. Underwhelming. 6/3/5/2+/11

Clear amber-copper colour, small steady white head. Rustic grassy, woody, a bit fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet IPA, almost toffeish. Malty, grassy flavour, even a bit of alcoholic. Certainly closer to English Strong Ale than Modern IPA. As it is almost 5 months old, also perhaps lost some edge.

Can that pours a clean amber colour with a warm light-yellowish head, good stay and some foamy lace. I kind of like the aromas as unique all-around. Starts on the typical caramel malt base but goes through a bunch of different apples and then, the cinnamon comes - make it smell like an apple pie. The spices are nicely balanced in the taste with the fruity malts. Not too sweet. Slightly dry. All refreshing. Still, a red ale, but with this really nice touch that reminds us of delicious desserts. I really like this !

Taster from bottle @ queue for MBCC '18 [ Yellow Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Magnotta Iced Apple ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, wood, apple concentrate, pure apple juice, rich apple. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, fresh apples, apple concentrate, pure apple juice, rich apple, sugary apples. Fresh can from my brother: pours clear copper with a white head. Aroma is a sort of honey maltiness. Taste is very lightly bitter most honey tastin' malts. This has a sort of plasticy taste that I had only previously experienced with Bowen Island Traditional Lager. It was a bad taste then and it is a bad taste now. Also, Toronto suburbs are not "true north", according to many Canadians, it is barely Cananda.

Sanpled from bottle shared by SinH4 @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts 2018 Day 1. Clear dark golden color. Smell and taste are very balanced, smooth ripe apple, lightly sugar, smooth finish, very tasty. Rich. 7-3-8-4-16.

Funky bottle courtesy of SinH4. A classical ice cider doing everything right, yet not doing the most exciting and complex flavours. Still, a clean and superb ice cider. No more description needed.

Bottle, thanks hubi. Nose is deep apple, peach, apricot. Palate is sweet apple, elderflower, some acidity in the finish. Great, but a bit too acidic.
