Team tasting at CBJ, thanks to me for the bottle. Near opaque dark brown beer, small but tidy bubbly tan head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy dark malts, a mild creamy sweetness and mellow dark chocolate. This has picked up the barrel very well. Oaky vanilla and light wood. A little alcohol spice. Nice fruit white port ripe grape fits in well. Light smooth and semi dry finish. Different and, it works well, very well

Pitch black colour with small beige head.Aroma of chocolate and coffee nice roasted and toasted mouth feels with oily texture and creamy strong finish.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 30.03.2028) im 2025-08 getrunken. Dieses gelbe Ale kommt mit deutlichen Südfrüchte Aromen daher. Die Säure ist typisch für ein Kettle sour leider etwas zu vordergründig und nicht perfekt balanciert.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a lacing, white head. Spicy, lightly funky aroma. Medium body, a super dry fruitiness, again spicy, lightly funky notes yet no tartness. Quite a solid bitterness. 270725

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable dark tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with touches of malt, vanilla, and dried fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of dark chocolate and sweetish touches of vanilla, malt, yeast, and dried fruit. Roasty and estery aftertaste with touches of malt and vanilla. A nice one.

Bottle, 13%. Strangely fruity aroma, paint thinner. Black colour. No head. The flavour is sweet with vanilla and marshmallow notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Marshmallow aftertaste. Very good, but a bit too sweet for me.

Bottle @ the brewpub, Nordby. Pours cloudy very dark brown with creamy, stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt and chocolate, with notes og cocoa and yeast, and touches og dried fruit. Sweetish taste of malt and marshmallow, with roasty and hoppy notes, and touches of cocoa and dried fruit. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with notes of cake. Warming alcohol presence. Yummy.
