Draught. Dark amber with small creamy beige head, very little pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, slightly flat pumpkin flavored beer that is desperately missing spices, thin body, abrupt finish. Certainly needs more kick than that.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Tart fruit, malt and yeast in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, tart fruit and earthy yeast. The finish is fruity with a berry and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

Location: Growler from Syosset Beverage, 10/6/14

Aroma: The nose is clean tropical hops, plenty of grapefruit, some rind, and a bit of grainy malt
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a thin head and some mild lacing
Flavor: It leans fairly bitter with a bit of fruity hop, the light sweetness provides some balance
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light for the style, soft and clean, light heat, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a solid example of the style, that feels like it is almost there. Some slight tweaking, and I feel like this could be a really good beer. Either way, it is pretty tasty.

Location: Growler from Superstar Beverage - Huntington, 9/11/14

Aroma: The nose is resin hops dominant, with plenty of tropical fruit, quite hoppy and very clean
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a sheeting white head and nice lacework
Flavor: The flavor is lightly sweet/fruity, but leans much more toward the hop bitter side
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth feel, soft carbonation, and a long, dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an excellent IPA. It is quite dry and has a really enjoyable flavor. I am quite impressed by this one. It could be quite dangerous at over 7%. This is a very west cost style beer from a very east coast brewery.

1/2 liter mug draft at the Biergarten in terminal C of LaGuardia airport in New York City. The pour is a hazed black brown with a small khaki head. The aroma is soft roast along with a bit of honey sweet malt. The taste is simple straight forward malt roast and sweet, clean and tasty. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a clean sweet malt finish.

On draught at Fette Sau. The beer is a brownish-black color with a medium creamy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, sweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
