Description
Founded on July 1st 2016, Brouwerij De Feniks is all about Living your Passion (in our case : brewing the great beers we love and helping others do to the same) and keep doing what you love no matter what. As you only live once, you will find out at some point that it pays off on emotional/satisfaction and many other levels to follow your passion. Under adversity, if you stumble and fall, or even crash and burn, remember that you can Always rise from your ashes like the mythical Feniks bird as long as you keep believing and continue to live that passion... And if you do, have a great beer on us !

At Brugs Bierfestival, 4 February 2018. Cheers to Anke & Pieter!

Cloudy black with a lasting, foamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, barley, some coffee & dark chocolate, nuts. Tastes medium malty/barley-like sweet and light roasted bitter; yeasty/hoppy finish with warming alcohol. Full body, slick/creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Adequate.

At Brugs Bierfestival, 3 February 2018. Cheers to Anke, Ian, Kevin & Jerre!

Hazy brown with a red hue and a small, foamy, off-white head. ARoma of yeast, caramel, malt, nuts, dried fruits and spices. Tastes light malty/nutty sweet and light to medium spicy/hoppy bitter, rounded by yeast notes; shortish, spicy, herbal finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Remains within expectations.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, light peach, orange, soft yeasty, sugar, light tropical fruits. Soft earthy and leafy hops. It has a bit of condensed milk and baby vomit too, lightly wrong milky stuff. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Just like the regular version there’s something weird that I really dislike, though there’s also some nice notes too it. Meh.
