After 11 years of rapid growth, we opened our Factory 5 brewery in Cloverdale, California, where we brew and package all our beer that goes to market. We hand select our ingredients for each batch, the grains and hops we use are chosen for their unique characteristics and the recipes and formulations are patiently developed over time. Many recipes start as a home-brew and then develop into the commercial beer available in many retail outlets today. We pride ourselves in using our established methods while always looking to improve efficiencies and techniques that allow us to provide quality beer to share with the world.
Beginning 2023 thw brewery was acquired by Drake’s Brewing.

Notes from March 2011 My condolences to Solomon on the review below. $3.95 for a 32oz fill at New Beer. DFH rounded pint glass. Ever so slightly darker then average amber golden ale. Glows orange while still settling. Strong white lather. Ugly, blotchy, lace. Smells of orange rind, black pepper, & lots of doughy stuff that could be interpreted any way you want it. Big alcohol. There is also a pineapple juice-like aroma I'm sensing. Honey-ish sweetness upfront, irritating tangerine rind, bit of a tang. More like sourdough then rye to me, but it's presence is more then subtle. Hops are a catty/piney, & linger just long enough to have the malt overtake it. Eventual dry finish. Take away the suspect simcoe(or whatever the extra hairy/pissy hop variety is being used) & I'm putting down a five here. Carbonation is frothy, but not strong. You really feel the additional heft contributed to this beer through the rye, but it maintains it's drinkability through sheer want & need from one sip to the next. Alcohol is decently integrated, but you will get some feedback by the trail end of the pint. Even though it starts off sweet, it cuts very well to the end without dragging it's muffler. I'm not even a big IPA fan & I really enjoyed this. Edit: I was a bit hungry half way through, & found some scraps of parm. reggiano that just cut it perfectly. Sad that I didn't fill up any other containers. Great beer & an even better value.

Can. Fairly hazy orange with a loose 2cm white head. Weak aroma of pineapple, crackers, some citrus. A bit more presence in taste with pineapple and citrus giving way to light bitterness and some astringency. OK.

Dark yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have yellow stone fruit and citrus. Smooth taste. Lots of malt sweetness balanced well with the hop profile. All the flavours are there.

Bottle drunk watching Dune on the new projector screen. WOW what a screen. Hazy orange beer, middling head, nose of slightly dank pine and citrusy pineapple. Fruit bomb with lots of mango and pineapple, caramel heavy, a bit on the sweet side actually. Tasty!

355 ml can from Beer Republic advent calendar poured into a Tulip. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, tropical impressions, pines, and floral hoppy notes. The taste is bitter. Full body. Dry and bitter finish. Nice old school West Coast action.

Drunk watching Eurocrash on Prime. Hazy amber, nice head, smooth caramel, malt, and pine nose. Dank notes, big bitterness that lasts, classic. I believe this was one of the first high-IBU IPAs i had in the late 90s in Richmond and i remember it was overwhelming at the time. Hah!
