Bottle. It’s a hazy, copper colored beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige head. Dried fruits, nuts, caramel, some anise and raspberry. Quite a lot of sugar too. Too much carbonation I think, and it’s full-bodied and semi-sweetish on the palate. Spiced, sweetish and raspberry tasting. Some nuts, caramel and a pleasant bitterness too. Alcohol notes. Bitter, roasted finish with raspberry. Quite a lot of good flavors and aroma, but it’s a bit messy. 131214

Pours brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, licorice, berries, spices, alcohol and dried fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a warm and spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Dobre z mocna iloscia naturalnych drozdzy, piana stoji mocno i jest bardzo trwala. Po dolaniu mazi zabarwia sie na szaro w niektorych miejscach. Mocno metne i o duzych ksztaltach. Piwo jaest niesamowicie swieze i naturalne. Delikatne i zbozowe w smaku. Prawie jakby pochodzilo z ekologicznej uprawy.

Bottle Pours unclear light blonde Big but fast fading white head Smell is spiced malts , but not straight pepper . If i wouldnt know it , i wouldnt think of it .. Very high carbo No pepper at all in the taste . Grains , bit bitter , malts . Way to much carbo If you swirl out some carbo , you can get a small hint of pepper in the aftertaste , withoud being hot or something .,

(Bottle, Oude Arsenaal, 24 Oct 2013) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, apricots, citrus and candy sugar. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, grass, coriander, bread and a fairly dry finish with a slight bitterness. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

Bottle @ comptoir des arts Pours clear blonde , overkill white foam Smell has hints of grainy and bitter Carbonation overkill , to the point it becomes undrinkable . . Bready - aspect , light bitterness , some grains . Xarbo ruins all , tbh ..

cellar leftover i assume 2012 pours fuzzy brown, small white , very fast fading white head smell is sweet ( sugar and maltyness ) way to high carbo . very boring, typical taste . sugary, sweet, malts, ... but with a good earthy back wich makes this better than most other christmasbeers.

Bottle: Cloudy, yellow-orange...floaties....tall, frothy white head. Sour orange aroma. Taste is tart, dry, sticky orange/banana/peach.... Ok, just a bit too tangy.
