Bottle in the hotel lobby, RBWG ’15, night 2 - 20/02/15 thanks to whomever shared this number. Lightly hazed orange with a modereate off white covering. Nose is citric peel, tangerine, lightly skunked hop tones. Taste comprises mandarin, tangerine, citric pith, straw, light bread, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Bottle @ home. Best before August 2015. Pretty hazy dark amber color, huge white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, sweet, jam. Taste lightly malts, slightly caramel, sweetish, jam, a hint of red fruit. Average body, slightly fizzy carbonation.

From Red Brick Brewing. 6.2% brewed in Oct. 2014 so 7 months old. A mild pine aroma with a thick sweet caramel malt backbone. Fairly full bodied but a bit syrupy sweet. I get the feeling this IPA is passed its best with most of the hop character having dropped out...

Bottle @ home. I fear the worst after reading the last rating (yes I mean you Borresteijn). Clear golden orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, wheat and nicely hoppy. So far so good. Taste malts, wheat, hops, lightly fruity, decently bitter. Best before date says August 2015 so not that fresh anymore and I do get a hint of butter in the distance, but it is still decent.

35cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of forest fruits, oxidization, old malts, roosvicee. Flavour is sweet, forest fruits, roosvicee, old malts, light earthy hop presence left, bittersweet finish. Also turned out to be over a year old. That’s what you get when you order online I guess.

35cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of some citrusy hops, tropical fruits, quite sweet, caramel, honey, old cookies. After a second look the beer appears to be over 15 months old. It shows. Flavour of old cookies, caramel, honey, baked apple, some hops, light citrus, bitter finish. Light bodied. Past its prime.

Bottle@yesprs - golden pour with white head. Grassy and citrus fruity aroma and taste, lemony hoppy notes, light floral, crisp and refreshing. Nice drop.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, light peachy. Bitter, crisp hoppy and peachy. Grapefruity and solid dry finish.

Crisp slightly hazy golden and honey coloured body with a ridiculously large, seven centimetre tall soapy tan ugly head. Aroma of pungent floral, perfumey and grassy hops with little else - perhaps some lemons. Light-bodied; Sharp hop flavours dominate with a very grassy and perfumey kick that finishes strong and deep. Aftertaste shows a nice robust crispness from the hops, some mellow lemon and citrus flavour and a nice herbal and grassy freshness at the end. Overall, a very nice Light IPA with a nice crisp finish and a pleasant hoppiness. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Cary, North Carolina on 02-August-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 25-March-2015.

New version of a beer that already existed before, apparently. Beautifully warm, deep copper colour, somewhere between orange and red, with some dead yeast bit floating around; medium, yellowish light beige, moussy head retaining well. Pleasant floral aroma of dried orange peel, tulips, pink grapefruit, sundried tomato, hazelnut oil, bourbon without the alcohol, biscuit, caramel, bell pepper, dry cookies, Parmigiano, persimmon, paprika powder, minerals. Taste begins fairly neutral, some dried fruits, restrainedly sweetish, minerally, medium carbonation, subtle sourish accent, nutty malt sweetness reminiscent of an Altbier, leading to a medium long finish of earthy and floral, only slightly citrussy hop bitterness; body is on the thin side even for a beer of this ABV. Still, a decent and refreshing session beer, I could drink this all day.
