33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn (some years ago). Pours close to pitch black with a bubbly, being head that dissipate almost immediately. Roasty aroma with dark chocolate, dark dried fruits and brown sugar. Smooth, velvety and desserty. Very enjoyable.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with a warm, reddish hue and a creamy, steady beige head. Nose is mostly cocoa. Fairly light body, again cocoa and chocolate, very dry al the way to the finish. Not that robust, more of a light British-style Porter. But well made. 170320

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and bread, leading to a bitter finish. Boring.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a warm, reddish hue and a small, off-white head. Nose has subtle roast and some tar. Medium body, super dry, almost watery with incredibly little roast and a weird high carbonation. A little sweetness comes in adding a licorice note, but it just finishes dry without much going on. Guys, you really need to get in control of your carbonation levels! 050320

Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight hazw and a small, rough, off-white head. Sweet, caramellish aroma with some very perfumy, tropical hops. Rich, sweet, caramel body, some nuttiness and a rather low carbonation. Same perfumy and very enticing hops throughout leading up to a massively bitter finish. The carbonation is a sloppy job - the rest is quite joyful. 050320

Bottle 33 cl. Pours opaque black with a tiny, rough, beige head - appears a little lifeless. Peat in the nose but also cattle manure - really smells like an old cowshed. Rich, sweet roast - close to flat. Massive, harsh roast, bitter Italian licorice and quite some peat, tar and iodine. Harsh, malt bitter finish. Extremely rough and rustic and to me way, way overrated. 040320
