Blinde Mol ou Blinde Flop? Blonde relativement simple, elle nous présente des arômes très particuliers entre herbes et vin blanc. Pas très amateur pour ma part. Peut-être certains en seront plus friands, mais même en ne prenant pas en compte cet aspect qui pourrait être subjectif, cette Maenhout ne propose rien de passionnant. Le visuel est sur un blond orangé limpide avec une mousse blanc cassé nappant juste la surface. Le nez est frais, sur le vin blanc, le raisin, le pain, les herbes et de légères épices. L'attaque est également fraîche. L'alcool est tout de même surprenant, faisant davantage que ses 6,5%. Des arômes de vin blanc, raisin, herbes et coriandre complètent le tableau. La deuxième bouche est quasi linéaire sur les arômes (un peu de poivre en plus) tout en devenant un peu plus douce et un alcool qui se renforce. Ce dernier se renforce d'ailleurs encore en arrière-bouche. Le final nous laisse sur un petit élancement sur l'amertume. Longueur et corpulences sont honorables. Cette bière me laisse dubitative.

Bottle. Golden color. Citric grassy hoparoma and flavor. Malty sweetish with a Firm hopbitterness. Good beer.

Bottle. Pinkish Amber color. Malt, toffee, dried red fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet, nutty flavor with dried fruit, toffee, hints of roast and rubber. Alcoholic. Decent.

Many thanks for this beer to Dariusz Sokol. Mocno alkoholowe piwo, nadmiernie slodkie, barwa ciemno miedziana, piana srednio i srednio trwala. Za slodki i dominujacy profil.

Flaska från Emil, vintage 2012. Mörk brunmurken vätska med mörkbeige krona. Maltigt, jästigt, lätt kryddigt. Inga markanta ålderstecken trots att den har några år på nacken. Helt ok.

4th July 2019, on-tap in 2Be, Brugge; comes in a blue pottery chalice. Old gold body colour, smooth white blanket of foam on top. Not a lot going on really, refreshing and thirst quenching enough but lasked depth on all fronts; light yeasty nose maybe and mild sweetness taste wise is all I picked up on.

33cl bottle from Spar Oostende. F: huge, creamy, egg-white, long lasting. C: gold, medium hazy. A: malty, floral, spicy, peach, bit orange peels, yeasty. T: medium malty base, fruity esters, honey, alcohol touch yet not disturbing, spicy, yeasty, dry on the palate, medium carbonation, another tripel yet not bad at all, enjoyed.
