Description
Op zijn zeventiende vertrok Ramses Snoeij naar zijn vader in Amerika. Rond 1990 werd daar het eerste Ramses Bier gebrouwen in Oregon, aan de westkust van de Verenigde Staten. Na zijn terugkeer in Nederland koos hij in 2007 ervoor zijn brouwhobby commercieel aan te pakken. Zijn eerste commerciële brouwsel was Willem Bever dat in 2007 werd geïntroduceerd. De bieren van Ramses Bier werden aanvankelijk gebrouwen met behulp van de brouwfaciliteiten van Bierbrouwerij De 3 Horne in Kaatsheuvel. Hier werden brouwsels gebrouwen van 700-800 liter. De proefbrouwsels werden in Wagenberg gebrouwen en hadden een volume van 50-60 liter. In februari 2013 werd een eigen bedrijfsruimte opgeleverd met een nieuwe brouwinstallatie die een brouwcapaciteit van 1.500 liter heeft.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, licorice and grassy hops in the aroma. Malty sweet roasty flavor with licorice. Caramel. Grassy hops. The alcohol is Fairly well hidden. Decent.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, hints of laurel an whisky in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with laurel, licorice, roast and a hint of whisky. Grapes, the whisky could be more ontspoken.

Bottle. Dark Amber color, vague floral Maltaroma. Malty sweetish, floral flavor with hints of caramel abd chloride. Not my favorite from this Brewery.

Tap @ NBFD. Amber color. Piney citric aroma with dried fruit. Malty sweetish flavor with oily hops and tropical fruit. Slightly alcoholic. Loaded with hops. A massive beer.

Bottle. Blonde. Citrus and a hint of salt and vinegar in the aroma and flavor. Tart. Soft vegetable notes. Hint of brett maybe. Very nice.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, tropical fruit and piney notes in the aroma. Malty, fairly dry, roasty flavor with hints of licorice. Tropical and citrusfruit. Tart piney finish. Nice.

Bottle. Golden color. Fruity, vinous soft floral aroma and flavor. Malty yet fairly dry, slightly perfumed. Herbal with a hint of tangerine.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel, oak and a hint of roast in the aroma. Malty sweet oaky roasty flavor. caramel. Bitter nuts. Decent, tasty. Well controlled oak aging.

Bottle. pale amber color. Malt, white pepper and yeast in the aroma and flavor. Dryish, yeasty. Some oily citric hops.
