Description

Very huge, snowwhite head, bit varied bubble over well-carbonated, darker golden beer with lacerings. Spicy nose, garden herbs & weeds, candi sugar. Bit earthy, herbal flavour with a light bitterness. Obviously sugar added (when not on the ingredients' list) and it seems not completely fermented out. Medium bodied, very well carbonated, quite slick. Typical Triest beer - yeast stamp? Txs to Stef!

Quite good, just off-white head over fully veiled, very carbonated ochre-orange beer; shards of lace. Grapey nose, if a tad dusty. Grape ester, almost artificial. Again a tad grapes, coloured malts. Dry, but with a backthroat restsugar sweetness. Obviously C-hops used, but also obviously a tad oxydized ones. Good carbonation, quite slick (wheatslick?), medium bodied. Really sweet for a tripel, and not the best hops. Txs to Stef!

Medium, stable, just off-white head, fed by lively carbonated golden beer. Bit farmyard/cattlestable, and vinous, fruitliqueur-like. Fruity and, if a bit faraway, sweeter sherry. Again some, if mild, farmyard. Toasted malts, bit red fruit. Good carbonation, liqueurish, some alcoholburn, at least medium bodied. Definitely one of Marc's better ones. Yet, I wonder about that 'C'. Txs to Stef!

Draught. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a minor white head. Aroma is mostly peat with some mild rubbery tones. Flavour is a strange combination of fruits, some yeast and a big bunch of peat. It's rare that I say it, but too peated for it's own good.

Medium, rather stable off-white head, giving some lace on orangey beer with a mossy sheen. (Pale) malts, lots of bananaester, bit spicy as gingerbread. Bitter, hoppy, bittering hops, dark green leaves, wormwood. Resin, pine, but with a sweet (ish) malty underbuild and some toasted malts. Warming up, walnuts and greenmalt. Medium bodied, rather slick, very lively carbonation. Raw bitterness in the mouth, perpendicular on the sweetish suave nose - not really what I like best. Txs to Stef!
