Can found in Scotland, says 7.5% on the label. Pours a deeper clear gold with fast gone foam and minimal carbonation. Aroma of red wine barrel, vanilla. Taste is a nice meld of apple and red wine, ending smooth. Alcohol well hidden. Not a bad meld at all.

500ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a bright warm golden body, no lacing and missing head. Subdued aromas of apple skins, sweet. Similar taste of sweet apples, hints of pears. Dry and sweet finish. Thin on the swallow. Has not got so much to offer. Did not empty the can. (Tromsø 19.04.2021).

Half a pint from a 2 litre plastic bottle from Bernie's (Shirley, Brum): BBE Oct 2021. Drank at home on the day of purchase, which was 11th Apr 2021. It tasted of apples, no head!

500ml can @ 8% Eye - clear dark gold, brief white head, slow moving carbonation. Aroma - a decent bitter-sweet fruity apple. Taste - semi-sweet, quite dry and slightly bitter apples. The finish has a strange twang of McVities crackers with a hint of booze and then an apple tart note. Palate - light and somewhat dry. Overall - its ok. For me this is not in the same bracket as the cheap white ciders.

3 litre bottle from Iceland (the shop that is). Pours a dark rusty gold, brief thin head; ok Mild aroma of sour apples and a slight chemical note; not great. Taste is sweet and sour stewed apples, then there is a lull before a dry finish; tastes stale. Moderate body that is oily on the palate; its a little sugar syrupy but its still the best part. Carbonation is fine Overall its a poor cider, not fresh, too tart, but drinkable. When it goes flat, down the sink it will go.

500ml can by C & C Brands of Glasgow according to my labelling. Anyway it's Tramp Juice and I drank it in the afternoon sun at home on 24th June 2020.

Pours a classic gold colour with a fizzy white head which doesn't last long. Aroma of moderately tart apples and something chemically - is that the Sulphites I wonder? Fizzy carbonation on the palate and a little syrupy. Taste of slightly tart and sour apples but watered down; pleasant enough. A very nice dry finish is its saving grace. Not as nice as I remember from my youth but its still drinkable.

3l bottle from Iceland because why the hell not. Fermented apple notes in the aroma, slightly rough maybe, dusty, but fresh enough. Lean light taste. Green apple, fermented notes, light alcohol, clean otherwise, extremely simple and cheap, but not technically off, okay carbonation. Not the worst cheap cider ever.

2L plastic bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Golden colour, fizzy white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, sugary, sulphur note. Taste is sweet, tangy apple, alittle apple skin, sugary, with some tartness. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi-sweet finish. Macro cider, OK
