Description

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Clear golden -a bit like apple juice- color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly some hops, herbs, a bit weird. Don’t get any fruit hops, just European or just bitter hops. Average to medium body and carbonation. Hmm...meh.

Road soda courtesy of Kermis. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast malt and citrus fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with a zesty sweet, yeast, slightly alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Nice to tick but I’d never order another. I think this beer would make me ill in quantity.

Bottle at De Molen, November 2013 Second Tuesday Tasting. Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is dry roasted malt yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with an alcohol liquorice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture and average carbonation. A rather lively imperial stout. Needs more flavours and less carbonation.
