Description
Two Chefs Brewing started in 2012 with the desire to completely stock our homes with home made funky beers and we haven’t stopped brewing since. We always aim to provoke the conventional and we like to stick out our tongue to the familiar.

Bottled @ cafe Derat, medium sample. Slight hazy yellow to golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, lemongrass. Quite fruity. Quite spicy yeast, slight funky. Bit bitter taste, slight dry. Good carbonation. Nice balance. I like this one!

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a huge frothy tan head. It didn’t gush, but there was so much froth it was 15 minutes before it had settled down enough for me to drink it. The aroma is roasted malt, dry, earthy mineral, light yeast. The flavour is strong bitter with a malt, rich red-berrry fruit, boozy alcohol, light coffee palate. Medium to full bodied with very lively carbonation. This beer is big, strong and right in your face. Not bad... not bad at all.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a dark mahogany with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, sweet caramel toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a roasted, coffee, sweet hop, light spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This was good and better than I expected from some of the earlier ratings.

Smells like an ordinary grainy pils. Taste is mildly sweet, with notes of malt, hop and a tiny bit of smokey bacon, very faint though and there’s no peat at all. Disappointing.
