On tap at PINT BBF’14. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of soft sweet malts, honey, dark malts, dark fruits, caramel, some roast. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, chewy, dark malts, some chocolate, roast, honey, light bitter finish, fruity. Medium-bodied. Tasty.

Bottle split with Kenny in the special surprise room tasting, Amsterdam Inntel pre Borefts livener, 25/09/14. Hazed light golden with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is peachy, mandarin, light spice, hint of pine, straw. Taste comprises orange pith, yeast esters, spice, tangy apricot, citric peel, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tangy citric tunes in the close and a little hop presence. Decent enough saison.

Bottle split in Craigs room, Borefts Day 2 after party tasting, 27/09/14 thanks to the person who brought this number - could have been Ken and I - fook knows! Extremely dark mahogany brown with moderate tan edgeing. Nose is roast malt, spice, chocoalte, rich malt tunes, bitter tones. Taste comprises much the same, a pretty 1D effort, dark cocoa, spice, roast malt. Medium + body, sprity licks and overcarbed, light roast and lightly warming alcohol in the close. Mediocre for style.

Bottle from Bierkonig, Amsterdam, Netherlands, consumed at home Thursday 9th October 2014. Pours black with huge honeycomb coloured sticky head. Nicely bitter, really roasty & yes again it is bitter. Soft and smooth in mouth, some dark chocolate, fresh green hops. Hoppiness lingers on roof of mouth, hoppy burps, lovely stuff I like this hoppy impy stout. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle. Golden beer, small head. Fresh aroma of hop and lime. Taste of lime, bitter hop and some malt, with a grassy touch. Body is a bit thin. Nice beer.

Nose is juicy citric peel, tangerine, light mango, nice hoppy vibes. Taste comprises earthy hops, citric peel, orange pith, mango, sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with hop bitterness. Solid enough IPA.

330 cl. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2014 Hotel Room tasting. Thank you! Reddish dark brown, creamy mocha head. Mocha, liquorish, herbal, leaf, sticky malts, light dark fruits nose. Tastes of soy sauce, liquorish, mocha, brown sugar, herbal, milk chocolate. Thick mocha body. Okay, not too impressive within style.
