Clear amber/orange pour with a small white head that hangs around the entire glass. Very mild malty aroma, sort of sweet. Taste is also mild, sweet and syrupy. Nice bodied, but lacked flavor intensity.

Nicely done IPA by Anderson Valley. Aroma is a nice blend of hops, pine, and citrus. Flavor is a strong hop kick with citrus (grapefruit) tones, pine, floral hops, and some caramel notes. Balanced flavor and a nice crisp finish.

12 oz. bottle. Have I finally gotten the last of the winter seasonals out of the house? After all, it’s hefeweizen time. Still, let’s give this one a go. Nice orangey head over a cloudy APA style body. Rich malt smell while pouring. Taste is rich and malty. Spices are rather light compared to the Anchor Our Special, and definitely not in the way. Occsional hints of a northwestern hop profile, but that’s about it. Nice drinking, like a baby barley wine.

bottle - Either this beer is overrated or I got a bad bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a big, frothy head. There was very little aroma, just some light malts. The flavor was moderately sweet with an extremely dry finish. Something about the flavor and especially the finish seemed off though. It was okay, but I’m not at all impressed.

Bottle Pours a very pale slightly hazy golden color with a nice puffy white head. Lots of sturdy lacing. Full malty aroma, sweet with honey and bread notes. Flavor was hoppier than I expected more of the styles Indian brethren. Soft carbonation and a nice full feel. Dry bitter bite at the end.

Pours a solid black / dark brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma is mild, swwet with a touch of malts. Taste is much deeper. Great blend of coffee, chocolate, bittersweet, malts, and roastiness are present here. Nicely balanced from start to finish.
