Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is raspberries, rosehip indeed, salt and wheat. Taste is raspberries, artificial-like, candy, salty. Metallic finish, sparkly carbonation. Aroma is fine, flavour is not for me.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/8/2019. Pours slightly hazy dark ruby red/brown color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/black/bready malts, light-moderate earthy hops, and light fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, brown bread/crust, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/bready malts, light-moderate earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy/sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is a very nice session American brown ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/bready malts, light-moderate earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Nicely rich malts, balancing earthy hops, and restrained fruity yeast. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example for the ABV.

Creamy light brown head left a spotty cover on an unclear reddish brown still body. Malt, demerara, spices & berry aroma. Medium bodied, lovely carbonation, smooth on the back & a cloying aft - excellent! Malt, syrup, Christmas spices, brown sugar, Molasses & caramel tastes with slightly fruity finish.
