Crystal clear golden coloured body with a faint, small, single centimtre tall pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of soft flowers (perhaps the rosehips) with a dash of grain, a light tart note with some salt/brine noticeable and no real support or malt components. Light-bodied; Super tart and easy-drinking wheat and floral notes throughout with some light white grape juice, some soft acidic and sour flavours, but the raspberries and wheat take over with a very mellow profile and super elegant throughout. Aftertaste shows the light wheat, soft flowers and more of the raspberries and tart notes than anything else, especially on the end with a soured tingling that stays on the palate. Overall, a nice and elegant, very easy-drinking yet tart beer with some mellow salt and briney notes, but more of the floral and tart characteristics here, especially at the finish. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Wegman's in Fairfax, Virginia on 21-July-2018 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 20-October-2019 about a year and a quarter later.

Black pour. Nice lace bright bourbon nose. Sweet, rich buttery caramel flavor with caramel and butter palate.

Can picked up somewhere last summer on the US trip. Almost black with a tall, foamy head. Light berry aroma. Black bread. Taste is mildly bitter with a faint tartness. Body medium to light with a very watery texture. Empty, watery finish. Nothing really wrong, just not much going on. A drinkable low ABV beer though.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A bright orange amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; an oddly familiar, but unidentifiable, spicy aroma - perhaps a fabric softener or room freshener; thin and watery with a similar spicy taste, and some vanilla and caramel. One sip was enough - an immediate drain pour for me.

A black light beer, lacking pretty much everything you want in both a schwarzbier and a craft lager. Slight nuttiness—and I do mean slight—followed by mild corn notes and yeast on the back end. As complex as a sheet of plain white copy paper. Pass.
