0.33 l bottle from 'Holy Craft' (online), best before April 2022. Clear, amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Slightly sweetish-malty aroma of leaves, caramel and light nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter taste of caramel, nuts, some wort and leaves, followed by a short, slightly bitter, worty finish. Medium body, very smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent NA Alt.

Bottle: Clear, copper coloured, stable creamy off-white head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of malt and unfermented mslt with a distinctive dash of peppery “Uerige” hops; moderste bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, creamy MF; peppery- bitter and caramalty finish with a dry hoppy “tail”. Chapeau! One of the tastiest “alkoholfrei” beers…

Stark brotiger Beginn, süß, trockene Herbe. Der Uerige Charackter ist verschwunden, man kann kaum noch erkennen, dass es sich überhaupt um Altbier handelt. Zunehmend bitter, wenn auch weich. Klassisches deutsches, nicht gutes Alkoholfreies. 9/5/6/5/10/5

Bottle from SB. Dark brown with stable, beige head. Spruce, grass, raw herbs, dark bread, leather, touch of caramel. Superb light grassy bitterness to compliment the subtle sweetness. Rather dry and herbal.

Brunfärgad vätska med tunt skumlock. Svaga aromer av rågbröd och farinsocker. Maltig i smaken med en neutral beska. Överraskande torr med en bränd karamellton.

Pours a hazy chestnut brown colour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity with odd notes of strawberries, dark fruits, caramel, nuts and brown bread. Taste is a lot richer with upfront notes of fruit cake, caramel, nuts, marmalade, tobacco and burnt brown bread. Still more hints of strawberries. Burnt roasty notes but also a touch of sweetness on the finish. Complex flavours and nicely balanced. Original and different. Nice beer to sip and enjoy. Very good.
