Bottle at a bar in Dusseldorf. Hoppier, thicker than the original. Sort of old school hop varietals and sensibilities. Kind of reminds me of old school NW beer, of at least Dutch beer. Good, but a little stale tasting. Not on the same level as the original. Perhaps this bottle was in bad shape, only two months out from bottling.

Bottle at Uerige. Filtered, clear orange-tan body. Sort of a tame style, but they really nail it. Bready, on the fuller side of medium bodied. Expert brewing, clean and fresh. Solid.

Tap at Uerige. Perhaps the most balanced, excellent Alt there is. Awesome bready malt tone. Pleasant hop balance. Maximum finesse. Excellent body and flavor. World Class. Perfect Stuff.

Uerige Alkoholfrei, Fläschchen von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Kupferrotbraun, klar; üppiger lockerer Schaum. - In der Nase die unangenehm süßlichen Aromen eines Alkoholfreien, Traubenzucker und Bierwürze. - Antrunk matt süßlich mit Traubenzucker, sehr blassen fruchtigen Anklängen (Erdbeerlimo?) und nur schüchternen Andeutungen von Toastmalz. Matte, unfrische Herbe. Gut rezent, weich und schlank. Im Abgang ein klein wenig besser - oder ist das schon die Gewöhnung? - Das Alkoholfreie von Uerige hat mit dem besten Altbier Düsseldorfs kaum etwas gemein, ist viel zu süß und nur schwer genießbar. 330ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, minimally grey-ish, white head. Slightly toasty, malty aroma with a spicy touch of rye, rye crisp bread, very light, doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is toasty malty and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of rye crisp bread, some lemon, widely disguised, weak, doughy yeasty overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Balanced, drinkable - very nice.

Bottle. Chestnut brown color with almost ruby shine, with a big nice head, lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, light roast note. Taste of caramel, bready, nice hops. Good bitterness, just perfect. Medium body, medium/low carbonation. Absolutely nice and very easy to drink.

Rock star beer? Sort of. 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear golden with an one finger white head in the glass. Grainy grassy smell. Taste starts grainy, increasinh caramel, some sweetness in the baclground. Increasing mid bitterness in the second part. Hints of chewing gum in the aftertaste. Above average carbonation. Easy drinker. Okay.
