Description
Myself and partner Sue began brewing hand crafted beers in our garden shed, with just two fermenters and a four barrel plant, the ales were bottled in the kitchen!

The brewery started in 2002 initially as Leek Brewery in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands.

In 2012 the name Leek Brewery was dropped and changed into Staffordshire Brewery.

500ml Bottle SH Jones Bicester 18-03-06. Gold no head, not as gingery as I expected or had hoped for, but quite dry and bitter, girlfriend knocked half of this over so didn’y get too enjoy this as fully as I expected, not bad but not great either. Plenty of ginger this time compared to last time I’d had but it was more ginger powder than root ginger, little bit dry, it seems they’ve tweaked and improved this one a little. 500ml Bottle SH Jones Bicester 18-03-06. Bottled version seems a little darker than the golden colour attributed to the cask version. Nice bitterness, dry and some hops but doesn’t really strike me as a wheat beer.

A hazy orange beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is of sulphur, hops, and grass, while the flavor is of sulphur, yeast, and spices. Not really into the sulphur thing - I wonder where it comes from?

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A hazy red-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges as well as hints of alcohol. The flavor has a nice note of caramel as well as notes of yeast and caramel, leading to a dry end, but the body is thin. Not my beer - but nothing wrong.
