The brewery started in 2002 initially as Leek Brewery in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands.
In 2012 the name Leek Brewery was dropped and changed into Staffordshire Brewery.

Old rating from 2016 - 500ml bottle. Pours black with a tiny white head. Aromas & tastes of chocolate & roasted malt. Moderate body. Sweet light finish.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with tiny white head. Pleasant subtle aroma of toffee with hints of orange and spice. Medium body with plenty of somewhat fizzy carbonation. Somewhat sweet toffee start with spices and some nice hoppy bitterness develops through palate. Very pleasant.

[50cl bottle from Longacres, Bagshot.] A cola brown coloured pour with a ring of translucent head and low carbonation; toffee and malt aroma; sweet malty taste; and a dank vegetal bitterness; then some sweet chocolate to finish. Disappointing.

[50cl bottle from Longacres, Bagshot at 5% ABV.] A bright golden amber pour with a fast fading white head; citrusy aroma with some dusty hops in the background; syrupy body with a taste of tangerine and red grapefruit; then a short-lived bitterness from some hedgerow hops before a fruity finish.

[50cl bottle from Longacres, Bagshot.] A bright copper pour with a tight white head; hedgerow hop aroma; caramel taste with some jammy fruit; and a nicely hopped finish. A straightforward English bitter.
