Rather weak, minimally floral and fruity, hoppy and minimally spicy malty aroma, a touch of marzipan, biscuit dough, grapesugar. Thin light beige head left a spotty cover on a light amber coloured body. Sweet spicy aroma with malt & stewed fruit. Medium to full bodied, sticky, greasy with minimal carbonation & a clean finish. Malt, brown sugar, grape, sweet citrus & dates with a long bitter finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'Vormann Brauerei', best before December 2018. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral, gently spicy and slightly grassy aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, coriander, some banana and hints of grass. A little sweet, minimally sourish, rather fruity-floral, gently spicy and a bit grassy taste of lemon peel, gooseberry, white grapes, coriander, some banana and a touch of grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little tart, yeasty-spicy and a bit grassy finish. Almost medium-bodied, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nicely refreshing and easygoing beer, really well-made and well-balanced, didn't really know what to expect due to the scarce information on the label but this is a nice surprise!

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, thanks to Erzengel. Pours a misty amber, off white head. Lightly sweet aroma of maltloaf. Taste is similar but ultra sweet, malty, biscuity and a touch watery. Bit of an odd one.

Bottle, as "Herdecker Brunnengold Spezial". Deep amber-golden color with small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, oxidized (in the good way), nutty. Taste is nutty, chocolate, earthy, a bit metallic finish. Medium sweetness. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Tasty!

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A slightly hazy deep golden beer with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of mild fruity hops, grainy malt, spices. Taste of grainy bitter malt, spicy hops, low sweetness, long bitter finish.
