Description
Oersoep is een craft beer brouwerij met een grote liefde voor droge, zure, hoppige en funky bieren. Creativiteit, ambacht en plezier zijn de kern van Oersoep. De brouwerij is volledig gefinancierd door crowdfunding. In 2023 verhuisd van het voormalige Honig-terrein naar het Waalplein, waar nu het Oersoep Brouwlab zit. Grote batches bier worden (voorlopig) elders gebrouwen.

Bottle. Pale blonde. Lemon, floral notes and funk in the aroma and flavor. A moderate sweetness, soft bretty notes. Pineapple. Lovely.

Tap at Walhalla. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, citrus, grapefruit, white pepper, yeasty, bit woolly funky. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. [left small taster in pic]

Can at home. Thanks for the can Ceasar! Hazy light orangy color, medium sized white head. Aroma is a bit odd, some green plants and a weird kind of bitterness. Flavor has it even more. Green plants, medicinal. Don't like it.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours black, nose is funk, oak, liquorice, leather, minty, taste is funky, zesty, floral, fruity, not too roasted, a bit acetic.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, collapsing, white head. Tangy and citrusy aroma, woody notes of fruit, apple, pineapple, quince, hints of salted lemon, a touch of lime. Taste is tart, dry, citrusy fruity, slightly tangy, salty, woody, fruity hints of apple, pineapple, quince, salted lemon peel, a touch of lime and coriander, doughy undertones. Watery texture, minimally astringent palate, prickly, almost fizzy carbonation.
