Description
We’re Josh and Frankie, husband and wife. We set up The Park Brewery in 2014 with the aim of creating really sumptuous juicy beers. Hop forward, stand out ales to be savoured and enjoyed.
Inspired by the new wave of microbreweries surfacing at the time, and loving the great beers coming through, Josh purchased a home brew kit to learn more about the process and started experimenting with the wonderful world of hops.
We named ourselves The Park Brewery due to our location, next to our favourite open space – Richmond Park. In an increasingly fast paced world, time out and nature is really important to us. We like to think our beer represents this – a moment to reflect – beer to be considered and enjoyed.

440ml can from Whole Foods Kensington. Pours black, thin off-white head that recedes. Prominent cinnamon and roast on the nose. Taste presents a decent old-style dry roast stout, good solid bitterness that runs throughout alongside a good cinnamon presence. Apparently real doughnuts used at some point, though not noticeable at all to taste. Fairly simplistic, thin bodied. Find myself yearning for a little more sweetness and smooth chocolate to offset the dry bitter roast.

From cask at Thornbury Castle, Marylebone, London, on tout to 22 southern counties with OGJ and EE 07.01.19. Very pale clear straw colour. Fine bright white head and lacing. Aroma of citrus, marmalade, biscuits and yeast. Some citrus bitterness is lingering on. Refreshing.

Cask at The Royal Oak, Holmbury-St-Mary. Citrus and resin aroma. Mesium gold. Creamy white head. Mesium bitter. Hoppy. Citrus. Sweetness gradually gains in strength and I found it got a bit sickly. Light-medium bodied. Slick with a sticky mouthfeel. Long astringent finish. OK - but not quite balanced.

Craft Islington. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, not much carbonation. Light malts with an equally light rye tang. Mild pine, ripe orange and a touch of skunk. Some apple towards the end. Poor condition and lacking any hop brightness. Very disappointing.
