[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A bright chestnut pour with a tight white head; berry aroma; sweet berry taste to start, then some astringent pine adding bitterness; rather thin caramel malt body; and a biscuity finish. Not bad.

Bottle split with Roger in Broadstairs, from the CoOp, 09/10/22. Clear golden with a decent lasting just off white head. Nose is soft malts, breads, floral notes, citric zest, grains. Taste comprises biscuit, lemon rind, bready malts, toasted grains, light herb, orange zest, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a mellow bitter edge. Decent enough easy drinking pale.

Keg at the Fleece Inn, Bretforton, 05/09/22. Clear golden blonde with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is pale malts, grains, straw, lemon, herb. Taste comprises cereals, pale and bready malts, light honey, grains. Medium bodied, fine to light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cleansing lager.

Keg at the Fleece Inn, Bretforton, 05/09/22. Moderately hazed light golden pour with fast escaping white bubbles. Nose is mellow apple, straw, grains, sweet notes. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, a touch bland, light orchard wood, straw, apple skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate affair. As per Danlo ... I'd wager this is CM Slack Alice.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Cloudy straw colour, mid sized head. Aroma of papaya and grass. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with husky malt. Papaya, mango and grass. Low bitterness.

Cask at the Squirrel, Penn Street, 01/10/22. Golden amber with a good sized lasting just off white cap, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is dried fruits, toffee, grains, crackers, biscuit. Taste comprises fruit slice, caramel, brown bread, straw, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close a light bitter edge. Decent cask bitter.

Keg at Beer Central Festival, Tea Works, Birmingham 17/09/2022. Pours very light hazed golden with a white cap. Aroma: grains, light fruity, yeasty, herbal, grassy. Taste: light to moderate sweet and light bitter, clean, light bready, grassy finish. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Not bad.

440ml can from Co-Op Bicton Heath. Misty gold pour, fresh floral fruity nose. Continues to taste. Light papaya shades. Tickling bitterness. Good crisp freshly fruity IPA.
