We’ve been brewing great beer in Derby since 2010, the team are all passionate about ale and work their socks off to make sure that every pint we make is consistent and delicious.

We’re serious about beer but we’re not too serious about anything else!

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a very slightly hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, grapefruit citrus, some pine notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp, citrus fruit, light biscuit malt, hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Dancing Duck Wot The Duck? VIP ].Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate, dark malt, vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151008] 7-3-7-3-13

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/2/2017. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet cereal malts, some citrus fruits, touch of leafy hop, hint of ginger, before a moderately dry finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 7/2/2017. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of toasted porridge oats, with some plain chocolate and dark liquorice. Flavour had more chocolate, and a hint of coffee, before a dryish, slightly creamy, finish. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 6/2/2017. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head. Easy drinking beer, with some tangerine fruit, citrus hops, biscuity malts and a decent, dryish, finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 6/2/2017. Amber in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Malty beer, with some hedgerow fruit, leafy hops and a decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask pint on 10th Jan 2017 in The New Inn, Newport Shropshire. Golden pour, smooth white crown on top. Fruity and citrusy: OK, but would have prefered less citrus notes personally. I am just bored with golden citrusy bitters and have been for two years!

[ As Dancing Duck Seduction ].Clear medium to dark amber brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, sweet malt, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, dark malt, brown sugar, toastes. [ As Dancing Duck Duck Berry ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, fruity, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, toffee - caramel, fruity.
