Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a very slightly hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, grapefruit citrus, some pine notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp, citrus fruit, light biscuit malt, hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Dancing Duck Wot The Duck? VIP ].Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, vanilla. Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/2/2017. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet cereal malts, some citrus fruits, touch of leafy hop, hint of ginger, before a moderately dry finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 7/2/2017. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of toasted porridge oats, with some plain chocolate and dark liquorice. Flavour had more chocolate, and a hint of coffee, before a dryish, slightly creamy, finish. Enjoyable.

Cask pint on 10th Jan 2017 in The New Inn, Newport Shropshire. Golden pour, smooth white crown on top. Fruity and citrusy: OK, but would have prefered less citrus notes personally. I am just bored with golden citrusy bitters and have been for two years!
