We’ve been brewing great beer in Derby since 2010, the team are all passionate about ale and work their socks off to make sure that every pint we make is consistent and delicious.

We’re serious about beer but we’re not too serious about anything else!

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and orange peel (the same aroma as in orange chocolate). Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 191018

Cask @ Fighting Cocks, Oakengates. Pours generally clear gold, white head. Zesty citrus on the nose. Taste presents some soft fruity sweet notes alongside its citric leanings, pale malt, light zest, drying close.

Cask on Bobs birthday w/e, Saturday 9th June 2018, Exeter Arms, Derby. Pours gold, superb clarity with a slim, clean white head. Light fruity beer, citrussy and light bitter with a hoppy bite. Good, simple no nonsense golden ale. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask during Bobs birthday Derby pub crawl, Saturday 9th June 2018, this stop was the Exeter Arms. Pours hazy gold with a white head. A little cereal, some sweetness but hoppy back end. Quite good. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Tried at Smiths of Bourne, Off black colour with a thin tan head. Slight chocolate and coffee aroma and taste. Medium body slightly dry finish.

Fra cask på Microbar, Manchester. Gylden. Medium høyt tett skum som daler veldig sakte. Tykk teppelacing. Blomsteraroma. Smaken bær & trær med hint av vanilje. Innholdsrikt. Tørr fruktig ettersmak.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 16/4/2018. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Hedgerow fruits, some floral hops, rich tea malts, a slight earthiness and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Dancing Duck / Arriva Sapphire ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, cookie, dought, sweet malt, biscuit malt, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, biscuit malt, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160809] 5-3-6-3-11

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Dark ale with a creamy head. It has pleasant light tasting dark malts with a small pale malt dryness in both aroma and taste.
