330ml can. Gold pour, white head, modest retention. Aroma of grain, corn, spice, hint of sweet flora. Taste is ok. It has that graininess with slight corn hint but reasonable hopping; quite grassy and floral with a decent bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, fairly crisp on the palate. For a lager its well balanced and bitter.

Draught keg at the North Star, Ealing. Mid-gold and duly hazy with a small even white head. Not getting a lot of aroma, maybe a bit of tropical fruit and citrus. Once it warms up, yes there's a fair bit of tangerine here. Tastes quite sweet, some melon and mango, with some aspartame bitterness on the denouement. Light body, heavy carbonation. Fairly basic 'pretty good' ked session hazy.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour a ring of white head; lemony citrus aroma; sweet lemony taste; and a watery bitter citrus finish. Instantly forgettable, like most citrusy session pale ales these days.
