Description
Brewing is our life, beer is our water so don’t waste time drinking all kind of other things which won’t make your life better.
One Mile End started brewing in the basement of the pub and location of that name in 2014. It moved its main operation to Tottenham taking over what had been Redemption Brewery’s original site.
One Mile End particularly in north-east London was known for brewing the occasional beer with a politically inspired name.
Reported in 2019 as to having moved all production to One Mile End Brewery ceasing production at the Brewpub.

Keg at the brewpub. Murky copper / orange coloured pour with a thin lasting greyish head. Aroma is heavy on the spices, coriander, orange peel, perfume. Some spicy rye on the nose with lavender. Flavour is composed of spicy sweet orange, floral soapy notes. Citrus and lavendar with light caramel and rye grains .palate is airy on the tongue and fairly highly carbonated and semi dry finish. Lingering floral orange and spices. OK but the soapy note is off putting.

Cask at the brewpub. Golden / orange coloured pour with a heavy haze and a lasting stodgy off white head. Aroma is nice fruity hop, lychee, pez, sweet orange and a hint of spice in the nose. Flavour is composed of sweet fruity hop, orange, peach and lychee, biscuit and fairly malty, a pumpkin and spices and well moderated and integrate with the hop profile really well. This is mostly a pale ale with good fruity American hops and low pumpkin autumnal spices. This is a pumpkin beer I can get on board with. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Very tasty.

Keg at the brewpub. Pinky orange coloured pour with a medium haze and a fine white head. Aroma is nice tart fruit, Brett funk, slight musty note and some plastic. Flavour is doughy grains, tart cherry, hint of vinegar and funky Brett pineapple in the finish. Palate is dry and crisp with spritzy carbonation. Interesting enough, hint of vinegar is somewhat off putting.
