Cask at the brewpub. Hazed burnt orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is big juicy pineapple, grapefruit and candied caramel hops. Sticky sweet on the nose with a whiff of alcohol. Flavour is composed of sweet caramel and juicy resin, orange peel and pine hops. Palate is fairly sweet and sticky, lowish carbonation. Lingering caramel and grassy, orange peel hop. A bit cloying, but well brewed and decent hop kick.

OK but nothing special.

Keg at the brewpub. Pinky orange coloured pour with a medium haze and a fine white head. Aroma is nice tart fruit, Brett funk, slight musty note and some plastic. Flavour is doughy grains, tart cherry, hint of vinegar and funky Brett pineapple in the finish. Palate is dry and crisp with spritzy carbonation. Interesting enough, hint of vinegar is somewhat off putting.

Cask hand pull at the White Hart brewpub. Aroma is nutty choc, earthy notes, hazelnut spread, hint of campfire. Flavour is smooth chocy roast, nutty, some sharp apple and tangy berry fruit. Its mostly sweet with a little drying chalk on the tongue at the end. Palate is a bit flabby oily and lacks condition. OK beer.

Cask handpump at the White Hart brewpub. Clear golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is resin, varnish, orange peel hops. Some hop leaf on the nose as well. Flavour is big piney hop resin, orange peel, grapefruit bitterness. Some light cara malt, biscuit. Bitterness is very firm and sticks at the back of the throat. Packs a pretty big punch, but is slightly harsh. Palate is semi sticky, lower carbonation than I would like. Good beer.

Cask gravity @Beer Rebellion, GH. It pours clear amber with minimal head. The nose is oily, peach, apricot, must, barnyard and wood. The taste is bitter, resinous, hop astringency, oiliness, raw bitterness, apricot, peach, almost burnt aspect and some acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Far from refined. Pretty raw.
