On tap @ Biblioteket, Bergen. Pours golden with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is fruity and tropical with mango and apricots and malts with honey, bread, toffee and butterscotch. Creamy body with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is sweet with caramel malts with toffee, bread and honey as well as tropical hops with mango and peach.

100ml from tap, with Sigridur 18.08.13, Oslo. Hazy light yellow body. Banana, apricot, green tea and wheat. A bit too sweet is our verdict, even though we both love Bergen, were reminiscing our years studying there and all the money we supported Hansa with.

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, banana, caramel, clove and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long wheat, grainy, banana and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Gulbrun tåkete med hvitt skum som ligger godt. Banan, hvete og litt metallisk lukt. Noe bitter kornete smak. Kort mild ettersmak med livlig kullsyre.

Appearance: Cloudy golden color with a fine white head that. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, banana and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Balanced and mild wheat, banana and fruity notes.
Overall impression: Nice. A huge surprise. Far better than expected after reading some ratings.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear dark brown with a reddish hue. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits, caramel and a hint of licorice and hops. Medium sweet with nice and light roasty flavours and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink and quite tasty. Decent brew!

On tap @ Biskopen. Even though the light is quite dim and dark in here, I can see that this is a near-clear golden one with a nice big and somewhat lasting just off-white top. On the nose this is quite on the fruity side. A bit sweet also, with melon, hops and citrus. Not extreme, but quite alright. It has a average carbonation level and a soft oily mouthfeel. A good dash of citrus and hops. Yeah, it actually seems like they have not been greedy with the hops in this one. It's grassy bitter with tones of fruity strawberries. Not bad at all, and most definitely the best I've had from the Waldemars. 13.10.2012

From tap at Oslo ølfestival. Clear golden to orange with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, malt and hints of caramel and peaches. Quite sweet and fruity but well balanced with a pleasant bitterness. Dry and bitter finish. Refreshing and easy to drink. Best beer I have tasted from Hansa, but still quite ordinary, decent IPA.
