Sampled at Bergen Ølfestival 2012. A pale golden body with a big white head. Light grainy aroma. Flavor is sweet grainy with some fruit and a certain bitterness, the bitterness is just bitter, the hop profiles it selves is practically missing. Medium body with a light aftertaste of plain, slightly harsh bitterness. Not very interesting but drinkable. I really do not see the point when a macro brewery starts a micro brewery and then brew the same standard pilsner, just a little bit more bitter with slightly more alcohol. Do they really not want to TRY?

Sampled at Bergen Ølfestival 2012. A golden body with a small off-white head. Mild citric fruity aroma, not much more. Flavor is light, soft malty, mild fruity and a light bitterness. Medium body and moderate aftertaste where a grassy bitterness becomes more evidence. Nice and quaffable, soft and smooth feeling, but nothing really outstanding.

On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. A clear, golden beer with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma had a touch of some unpleasant corn-like. Else it’s fruity and grainy. The flavour had some bitterness, at an appropriate level, but it’s mostly fruity and grainy. Medium body, nice carbonation. The finish has a hint of yellow apples, as well as grains and a generic fruitiness. Well, it’s a decent one, but I’m far from impressed. 120908

On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. Fruity, light peachy nose with a resiny touch. Good bitterness in the flavour, it’s quite dry on the palate, a bit too dry maybe. Pleasant carbonation. Grass, pine cones and some fruitiness too, and quite grassy in the finish. Fra fat på Biskopen i Bergen: behagelig aroma av banan og litt krydderier. Kryddersmaken mer framtredende i smaken. Behagelig munnfylde og ettersmak uten å imponere, men allikevel bedre enn slik jeg husker den første gang jeg prøvde den for et par år siden.

On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. Light haze on this pale gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Sweet tripel like malts with a little bubblegum. Carbonated sting in the finish. Alright, goes down easy.

On tap @ Kalfaret Brygghus, Bergen. Pours a darkly red brown, with a nice creamy head. Aroma has a nice fruitiness, with notes of plum and chocolate. Moderate to thin body, with medium carbonation. Flavour is lightly burned malts and coffee.

On tap @ Kalfaret Brygghus, Bergen. Pours a dark reddish brown, with a creamy head. Aroma has sweet caramel malts and syrup, with some spicy notes. Sweet syrupy flavour, with some distinct Christmas spices (cardamom?), and some lightly burned coffee sticking through the finish.
